Season's Total Catch - 1,024.
This is the second best total recorded in the last 10 years.
Third Best ever catch for the month of September - 420.
 

All-time Record Catch for One Day
taken on September 13th. - 54 Salmon & Grilse.
beating the previous record of 52 established on August 15, 1992.
54 fish to 12lb. taken for 41 rod days.
One 6 rod novice party all caught their first salmon the same day guided by Glenda.

All-time Record Catch for August  - 422.
beating the previous record of 377 established in 1992.

Biggest Fish the Season  -  September 11th.
Taken on spinner on Lower Kilmurry - 15.8lb.

Total for July was 117, of which 59 were released alive.
Total for August was 422 of which 209 were released alive.
301 were caught in the 13 days from Aug. 15-27 for 237 rod days.
Total for September was 420 of which 227 were released alive.

Total for Season so far is 830, of which 424 have been released alive.
54 anglers have caught their first ever salmon with us already this season.

Current Situation & Prospects

Weather: Looks as if it will be dry from now to the end of the month - hurrah!
River: Down to 0.98m by nightfall. Clarity ~3 feet.
Temperatures:      Air:  12°C    54°F
Water:  15°C    59°F
Run of Fish: Excellent run of grilse & some bigger fish going through.
Catches: All-time record catch for August.
Methods: Will be spin & worm until the flood subsides.
Prospects: Will be superb once the rain stops & the river settles.

All taken on spinner. 17 fish from 1 beat including 6 first ever salmon for a 6 rod party!
